Redtooth Poker have introduced a fantastic new way of joining us on next year’s Vegas 100 trip, please welcome the Redtooth Poker Tour!

The tour will consist of 8 legs around the UK with a Vegas 100 ticket going to the winner of each leg with other prizes including Redtooth Poker branded hoodies and semi-final seats up for grabs.

You can buy-in to any of these fantastic events via our online store in the top right hand corner of out homepage! All tickets are subject to availability and there is no cap on the amount of tickets you can buy. It is on a first come first served basis.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Players must have played at least 4 games in the last 12 months to be eligible for the tour.

The prize (Vegas 100) is only available to the following qualifiers:

The winner of each regional final throughout the 2013/14 Redtooth Poker year.

The final 10 players at each Semi-Final (Dates and venues TBC).

The winner of each Redtooth Poker Tour event.

The Vegas 100 trip is only available to players aged 21 or over, as on 1st May 2014, due to gaming laws in Nevada. This means that if a player is under 21 at the above date and finishes in a qualifying position they would be ineligible for the Vegas 100 trip. Any winner under 21 will, therefore, receive a cash alternative of £500.

The Vegas 100 event will take place in May 2014, you will be informed of the exact dates by the end of September 2013 and qualifiers must be available to travel on the dates specified by Redtooth. Redtooth will provide flights to and from a UK airport, transfers to and from the hotel, accommodation and breakfast in Las Vegas for each person. Players are responsible for getting to and from the designated airport in the UK. Hotel occupancy is based on sharing a twin room. Single occupancy rooms can be made available if requested, but a supplement would be payable by yourself.

You need to inform Redtooth of your full name (as it appears on your passport), your date of birth, your passport number, the country of issue of your passport and your country of residence and proof of your ESTA approval by 31st January 2014. If you win the trip after the 31st January you will have 30 days from the date of qualification to do this. Your Passport must have at least six months left on it from date of travel. Failure to do so may result in you not being able to travel.

You can apply for your ESTA via - https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/

It is your responsibility to ensure you are able to travel to the USA. The cost is roughly $14 and is valid for 2 years. It is advisable that you do this as soon as possible as if you are not cleared to travel to the USA via an ESTA you will need to apply for a Visa which may take up to 22 weeks to arrive. Failure to do this will result in you not being allowed in to the USA.

All qualifiers & guests must hold a valid passport and be eligible to visit the USA and arrange suitable travel insurance as needed.

Redtooth will not book your flight until you have had your ESTA/Visa approved.

No alternative prizes will be made available.

Redtooth reserve the right to change or amend this prize.

There will be no refund on any monies paid to Redtooth by players and/or guests after the 31st January 2014.

Stratford’s Aspers Casino in the Westfield Shopping Centre hosted another successful West London regional final and would be the source of another member of the Vegas 100 trip.

The best represented venue was the Green Man in Potters Bar who claimed the team event trophy thanks to Danny Strange, Sam Jones and Ellis Titheridge.

A 10 player final had Phil Armstrong leading the way with 181,000 in chips. With Bradley Staight in 2nd, he would be disappointed with an 8th place finish ahead of Chris Gordan and Stuart Maddox in 10th & 9th respectively. 2013 Vegas 100 member Glenn Brown exited in 7th place with Simon Caller in 6th, Peter Mayne 5th, Thomas Hynan 4th and Phil Armstrong 3rd. Rob Allen and Patrick Young were left to play for the day’s top prize, a trip to Las Vegas. The final hand came when Rob Allen was dealt J-9 to Patrick’s K-8 with Patrick being at risk. A board of A-3-J-8-4 was not what Patrick wanted as Rob earned the check mark to make him the new West London regional final champion. Congratulations!

Star City in Birmingham welcomed the second half of our ever growing West Midlands region as the Las Vegas feeling was well and truely in air.

The Albion in Wolverhampton won the team event trophy but couldn’t provide any finalists. They were represented by Martin Nuby, David Spencer, David Wolverson and David Loftus.

A 9 player final was led by Chris Sharkey of the Maudsley Hotel in Coventry. David Nash left first in 9th place with Jason Hayzelden in 8th. Craig Lockyear finished in 7th place with Warren Carless 6th, Graham Wing 5th, Chris Latimer 4th and Chris Sharkey 3rd. This left Lewis Buckler and Clint Sherratt to contest the Vegas trip. The game was soon over after Lewis Buckler was dealt A-10 to Clint Sherratt’s 10-9. Clint’s flopped backdoor draw was of no use as the board ran out Q-4-5-6-3 to crown Lewis Buckler the new West Midlands Two champion.

The impressive Genting Casino in Sheffield, their flagship casino, hosted our South Yorkshire regional final. Nearly 200 poker players packed their card room with the hope of winning a dream trip to Las Vegas.

There were three outstanding venues on the day, all supplying 2 finalists. The Hammer & Pincers, the Stocks and the Brownlow Arms were all in with a shout of the team event trophy. Eventually it was the Stocks in Sheffield that prevailed to take home their first team event trophy. They were represented by league champion Gavin McDermott, Carl Harrison and finalists Liam Kelk and Wayne Wentworth.

The first two players out were the two lads from the Hammer & Pincers, Steve Parkin (10th) and John Verhaert (9th). Liam Kelk went from 2nd big stack to eliminated in 8th place with Kathryn Higgins following in 7th. Mike Else steered his short stack into 6th place with Lee Hall finishing 5th, Michael Snowden 4th and Wayne Wentworth 3rd. Heads-up saw Jamie Richards battle John Hussey for the fantastic Vegas 100 prize. The final hand arrived when Jamie was dealt A-A to John’s 8-7. John got a bit of help on a 10-K-9 flop but couldn’t find anymore on a 2-5 turn and river. With John at risk this brought the tournament to an end and gave Jamie Richards a well deserved victory.

Redtooth Poker members from the Merseyside area descended onto the Genting Casino in Liverpool to battle for another North West Winner. Failing that there was a share of £500 up for grabs!

The first award of the day, the team trophy, went to a familiar venue. Previous winners the Crown & Cushion will need to price up a trophy cabinet as they took home another team event trophy. This time they were represented by Stu Whitfield, Helen Kavanagh, Anna Barker and Dave Campbell.

After around 6 hours of play we were down to the final 10 players. Colin Brown soon hit the rail in 10th place with Paul Oldbury in 9th place bubbling the cash prizes. Keith Clowes left in 8th place as the first cash prize winner. Colin Clayton was 7th with Andrew Ferguson in 6th, Paul Gardner 5th, Trevor Jones 4th and Sam Snape 3rd. The heads-up match saw Neil Sutcliffe and Mick Griffiths battle for the trip to Vegas. With Mick at risk, he had his chips in the middle in bad shape as his A-2 was dominated by Neil’s A-10. The board was of no help as it ran out 3-9-K-10-7 to crown Neil Sutcliffe the new North West Two regional champion.

A very evenly contested final table made this one impossible to call. The two players to miss out on the cash prizes were Martin Reeves in 10th place and Martin Cox in 9th place respectively. Charlotte Pike exited soon after in 8th place and was followed by Ben Shatford 7th, Jay Peplow 6th, Carl Brown 5th, Lee Froud 4th and Adrian Morrish 3rd. A very excitable John Ashcroft and Martin Press battled for the remaining prizes of a Las Vegas trip and £200. The final hand saw Qh-Kh match up against Js-8s with Martin being at risk. The board peeled off 10h-6h-4c-Ad-3h to give John the flush and the title of Wales Two regional champion.

The first half of our Welsh contingent packed out the Grosvenor in Cardiff as we gave away a free trip to Las Vegas. Trophies were also up for grabs for the day’s individual winner and the top performing venue.

This 10 player final saw the second big stack, Nicholas Marriott, surprisingly exit first in 10th place. Nicholas was followed by Robert Gillen in 9th, Carl Watson in 8th, Steven West in 7th, Nathan Cook in 6th, Neil Davies in 5th, Stuart Latham in 4th and Matthew Brown in 3rd. Stuart Rankmore and Lee Warman proceeded to contest next year’s Vegas trip. The tournament was soon over and a new champion found once big stack Lee Warman was dealt 9-6 to Stuart’s Q-J. They both saw a board of 6-2-2-5-5 which gave Lee the win to become the new Wales One champion.

The Grosvenor in Leeds welcomed 200 Redtooth Poker members for the latest West Yorkshire regional final. One lucky person would emulate what 4 others did last year and win a trip to Las Vegas from this final.

The team event winners, the West End in Cleckheaton, included a previous regional champion in Andrew Carr. Chris Jackson, Jonathan Bowman and David Taylor also represented the venue.

The 10 player final saw the return of ‘Last Table, Las Vegas’ member Andrew Gee, hoping to be the first player to qualify for a second Redtooth Poker Las Vegas trip. The first player out was Tim Walker in 10th place and Tim was soon followed by David Taylor (9th), Alan White (8th), Graham Brandreth (7th), Lee Vause (6th), Geoff Blunn (5th), Ray Bartram (4th) and Scott Connell (3rd). Scott’s elimination meant Andrew Gee and Chanya Sri-Aran could battle for the Vegas trip. The final hand saw Andrew get his chips in the middle in bad shape as he tabled K-10 to Chanya’s K-J. A board of Q-Q-8-A-3 sealed the deal for Chanya who will now be joining us in Vegas next year!

There was no comeback for Craig Crackett who started the final with only 2,000 in chips. Craig exited in 10th place just missing out on the day’s prizes. The next elimination saw Terry Telford exit in 9th place and he was soon followed by Ronnie Savory in 8th, John Briston 7th, Paul Saunders 6th, Ian McKay 5th, Wayne Gibson 4th and David Fletcher in 3rd. After around 8 hours of play we were left with Hayley Ratcliffe and Omar Wilson with a trip of a lifetime up for grabs. The final hand was a bit of a ‘cooler’ for Omar as his 8-8 was up against Hayley’s K-K. A board of 9-A-2-A-K was of no help to Omar as Hayley Ratcliffe became the new North East regional final champion.

The Grosvenor Casino in Manchester hosted our North West One regional final for the first time in their brand new and very impressive card room. A trip to Vegas for Vegas 100 would be awarded to the winner along with a share of £500 and the excellent trophies on offer.

Our first award went to the Beaumont Arms in Bolton who just pipped the noisy Red Herring in Coppull to the team event trophy. The Beaumont Arms were represented by the day’s runner-up Gary Blamire, Simon Gugniewicz, Sean Ridsdale and Daniel Long.

An excited 10 player final table took their seats with youngster Adam Hinchliffe leading the way. Not far behind Adam was defending champion and this year’s Vegas 100 member James Stratton. In a final table that went very much to form saw short stack Marie Hunter exit first in 10th place with Mick Harwood in 9th, David Smith 8th, Jodie Oakes 7th, Anthony Thomas 6th, Andy Cairns 5th and James Ashworth in 4th. Three handed saw the three big stacks at the start battle for the one Vegas 100 trip. A long three handed battle saw the final finish in 2 hands. 3rd place was defending champion James Stratton who had his fair share of misfortune and then one hand later we had a winner as Adam tabled A-6 to Gary’s K-6. A final board of 2-7-10-9-Q gave Adam Hinchliffe the victory and is the first North West Vegas 100 qualifier.
