An 8 seat final saw short stack Leon Inman exit first in 8th place. Kirk McGuinness then left in 7th with Kieron Wilson 6th, Adrian Parker 5th, Stephen McIsaacs 4th and Paul Pickering in 3rd. The final hand between Chris Bromley and David Booth had it all as David’s K-Q was up against Chris’s Q-10 on a 10-9-J flop. With David also having a higher flush draw he was a strong favourite with 2 cards to come. A 7 and a J peeled off the turn and river to make David the new South Yorkshire champion.
