Redtooth Poker members from South Yorkshire and surrounding areas played out the South Yorkshire regional final at the Grosvenor Casino in Sheffield. Around 200 players took their seat hoping to leave with either the day’s top prize or one of the eight cash prizes.

The best represented team was the Midland Hotel in Sheffield, their 4 players walked away with a crystal glass trophy to display in the pub. Congratulations to Chris Hurst, Gary Mizler, Rachel Page & Laura Jackson.

Craig Ward led the 10 player final with a big stack of 197,000 chips while Steve Hughes sat at the other end of the spectrum with just 10,000 chips. The heads-up encounter came down to a match up between a previous two-time VEGAS100 qualifier in David Booth and Nick Clifton. The tournament came to an end with David holding 9-9 to Nick’s Q-6 with Nick Clifton at risk for his tournament life. The final board ran off 7-2-A-J-3 to eliminate Nick and crown David Booth a three-time VEGAS100 qualifier, only the 2nd Redtooth Poker player to achieve this feat.
