THE REPORT

Our newest venue, the Grosvenor in Plymouth, would now host our South West regional final where one lucky player would be leaving with a ticket to Las Vegas.

As play got under way, Tony Bardoe and Ben Desborough were the first two players out. Tony represented the Threemilestone Social Club who later had two players hit the final table. The Ship Inn in Paignton was also well represented as two of their four players made the final table which lined up as follows…

Our chip leader Trevor Burton had a final table to forget as his stack soon diminished to nothing. Trevor’s 10th place was followed by Ken Wilcocks in 9th, Frazer Bolt hit the rail in 8th place with Brad Wells in 7th. James Drake was next out in 6th, Craig Wills in 5th and Aaron Trotman in 4th. Laura Murt saw her first casino appearance end in a 3rd place after a three way all-in. John Whole held the second best hand which left Michelle Nicholas as our new South West champion!
