The Genting Casino in Newcastle opened their doors to 179 Redtooth players where many prizes were being awarded on the day.

Rob Welsh from the Travellers Rest in Darlington earned the ‘honour’ of being the first player eliminated. Unlucky and better luck next time Rob!

The team event trophy went to long standing Redtooth members, the Durham Ox in Northallerton. Congratulations to heroes Lee Coates, Craig Jones, Keith Johnson and Sabrina Parry.

As soon as Keith Fletcher unluckily bubbled the final, the remaining 10 players lined up as follows.

James Radcliffe was the first player out in 10th place with Robert Christal and Adam Wallace in 9th & 8th respectively. Peter Katz was soon following in 7th with Tommy Alderson 6th and Gordon Penman in 5th. The two Durham Ox lads, Lee Coates and Matthew Fishburn were in 4th & 3rd leaving a heads-up encounter between Adam Jeffrey and Gordon Smith. Gordon Smith emerged victorious after a short heads-up battle to become the newest North East regional champion.
