Vegas 100 fever was rife in Birmingham as nearly 200 players all fought for the same prize in our latest West Midlands One regional final.

It wasn’t all about the Vegas package though as the March Hare Inn in Worcester secured their first ever team event win. Taking home the trophy was league champ Sam Box, Rob Brooke and Michelle Warfield.

Kevin Grove was the first player out in 10th position. Short stack Adam Taylor was 9th before the double elimination of Nick John in 8th and Paul Mallin in 7th. Marvin Rice was 6th with Paul Markham 5th, Aaron Ali 4th and Craig Jones 3rd. The heads up match was between Catherine Winch and Brandon Slater. The final hand saw Catherine table K-10 to Brandon’s Q-9. The final board favoured Catherine as it ran off K-5-10-7-10 which gave her a well deserved win. Congratulations Catherine.
