The Grosvenor in Bristol welcomed our West Country members where another Vegas 100 package would be awarded along with £500 cash and two crystal glass trophies.

The team event winner wasn’t in doubt as the Carters Rest had three finalists in Mitch Rowlands, Gary Pugh and Tom Barkham. They take back a very nice glass trophy to the pub.

A 10 player final table saw two of the lads from the Carters Rest exit in 10th and 9th with Mitch in 10th and Tom in 9th. Chris Austin finished in 8th with Paul Griffiths 7th, Vegas 100 member Paul Tadman 6th, George Wooley 5th, Dave Turasz 4th and Michael Carey 3rd. The heads-up match came down to a battle between Daniel Turner and Gary Pugh with the Vegas 100 package up for grabs. Gary had the best of it as the chips went in the middle holding Q-5 to Daniel’s 9-6. With Daniel at risk a 5-5-2 pretty much sealed his fate as a meaningless J-K hit the turn and river to make Gary Pugh our new West Country champion and latest Vegas 100 member.
