178 Runners fought it out at the Circus Casino at Star City in Birmingham for the first of the West Midlands regional finals.

The tournament culminated in a tense battle on the final table between Ryan Henderson of the Bear Tavern, Warley, Steven Broadhead of the Golden Hind, Kingstanding and David Burke of the Park Tavern, Kingswinford.
Ryak eventually came out on top with a full house beating Steve’s trip 10s.

Two Players form the Golden Hind in Kingstanding, Steve Broadhead and Janet Page, made the final table with Paul Clarke, the third qualifier from the pub, also making the top 15.
