Gala Casino in Dundee played host for the first ever North Scotland regional final and with people travelling from as far North as Ullapool it was going to be a great day.

As it came to the final table Paul Macready of 4 J’s, Dundee was the chip leader but couldn’t use it to his advantage and was eliminated in 4th place, narrowly missing out on a place in the National Final. The final heads up came between James MacGillivray of the Cheiftain Hotel, Inverness and Andrew Armstrong of the Butchers Arms, Aberdeen. Andrew managed to keep up his game and become the North Scotland Champion.
