The first team event trophy of this round of regional finals was a drawn out battle but was eventually awarded to the Rack & Cue in Dundee.

Going into the final table of 10 there was a clear chip leader and short stack, but not much between the others. This meant that it was still anyone’s game. First to depart was David McIntosh. A short while later we had the last casualty of the day when Gordon Cuthill‘s AQ fell against Ronnie Rice‘s pair of 3s. The flop came down with another 3, while the turn and the river didn’t deliver anything that would help Gordon, leaving Ronnie victorious, and our first Vegas 100 winner of the season.
