The Grosvenor Casino in Bristol once again hosted our West Country regional final where players from Bristol, Gloucester, Yeovil and surrounding areas were all hoping to win a trip to Las Vegas in 2015.
The team event trophy was a close run event between the Bell Inn in Yeovil and the Royal Oak in Nailsea. Both venues provided 2 finalists but it was the 4 lads from the Bell Inn who proveiled thanks to Roger Rashley, Jason Edwards, Chris Hayter & Malc Humphries.

The 10 player final had a clear leader in Ryan McKean on 233,000 chips. We also had a 2013 Vegas 100 member Jason Edwards who was looking to make a return next year. But unfortunately Jason was the first player out, being eliminated in 10th place. Ed Southey was 9th with Mark Tilling 8th, Dave Plumpton 7th, Roger Rashley 6th, Toby Layhe 5th, Dominic Ryan 4th & Steve Hurley 3rd. Big stack Ryan went up against Adam Gough for the days top prize of a trip to Las Vegas. The poker gods were definitely shining on Ryan as the final hand saw him hold 2h-3h to Adams A-6 and on a Ah-3s-Qh-Kh-5h board, Ryans flush beat Adams top pair to claim the West Country regional final title.
