The days first prize was the team event trophy which was won by the Grosvenor in Felixtowe for the first time. A big congratulations to their players Chris Simcock, Omar Aziz, Jamie Chapman & James Baker.

Our 10 player final had Terry Barker as the big stack nursing 179,000 in chips. Unfortunately things didn’t go Terrys way on this occasion as he exited in 7th place ahead of Christian Broughton 10th, Dean Meredith 9th and Tom Hood 8th. Michael Senior then finished in 6th place with Simon Platt 5th, Matt Waddilove 4th & Jodi Hurley 3rd. The days top prize, a trip to Las Vegas was contested between Paul Whitehead and Gary Payne. The tournament was soon brought to an end with K-3 matching up against 4-5 on a tasty board of 3-K-5-J-4, and with Gary Payne being at risk it was Paul Whitehead holding K-3 and in-turn claimed the latest West London title!
