Edinburgh welcomed our South Scotland members as another seat into Vegas 100 was awarded along with £500 cash and 2 trophies for the day’s winner and our best represented venue. The latter trophy went to the IQue Cafe Bar for a fifth time, on this occasion they were well represented by Giancarlo Fedi, Alex Rooney, Mick Martin & James Gallacher

Andrew Harper and William Calder both emerged from the pack to reach the heads-up encounter. The tournament came to end when Andrew was dealt A-J to William’s Q-4 with William at risk. A final board left the winner in no doubt as the players saw a 9-7-J-K-A hit the felt, which crowned Andrew Harper the new South Scotland champion and the fifth player from Alloa to make the Vegas 100 National Final.
