Coventry’s Ricoh Arena hosted our West Midlands Two regional final in their fabulous Las Vegas style casino. Nearly 200 players hoped to leave with the day’s top prize but only 1 player could! £500 would also be shared and a trophy for the best team would also be up for grabs.

The first award of the day went to the Lyppard Grange in Worcester who just edged out the New Inn. Congratulations to Andy Hope, Rikki Hurn, Debbie Murton & finalist Mark Woodyatt.

The top 4 chip stacks carried on their form throughout the final table as they were the last 4 players remaining in the tournament. But it was Will Garry and Tom O’Toole who played for the final two prizes, a heads-up match that didn’t last too long. The final hand saw Tom table A-10 to Will’s K-10 after a pre-flop all-in and call and with a board of 7-Q-5-Q-A Tom O’Toole would be the latest Redtooth Poker member to be heading to Vegas in May.
