Our final got under way with James Brown leading the field on 124,000 in chips. Short stack Ian Packford made good use of his 22,000 stack with an impressive 3rd place finish. Ian’s elimination left James Brown and Paul Barnett to battle for the day’s top 2 prizes, a ticket into our Vegas 100 national final and £200 in cash. The tournament was soon at an end once 2 huge hands were dealt with James holding A-K to Paul’s Q-Q, needless to say the chips were soon in the middle. The board ran out J-10-8-4-K to give James the win and with it the title of West Country regional final champion and as we think James probably hasn’t heard this enough already, i bet he feels good!
