Our South England regional final was held in Portsmouth at Gunwharf’s Grosvenor Casino. Another seat into VEGAS100 was up for grabs and awarded to the tournament winner. £500 cash was also shared amongst places 2nd-8th.

The Wheatsheaf in Bognor Regis took down the team event trophy with 2 finalists in total. Congratulations to Kirsty Jackson, Andrei Naidia, Julia Nash & Ashley Pickstock.

With big stack Mark Barnard bowing out in 3rd place it was left to Tom Cleeve and Chris Cook to battle for the most sought after prize in pub poker, VEGAS100 qualification. The tournament came to an end with Tom holding K-10 to Chris’s Q-2 with Chris at risk. Chris was needing help from the poker gods but a final board of 2-5-J-K-4 gave Tom the check mark and made him the new South England regional champion.
