Players from Aberdeen and surrounding areas gathered at the Grosvenor Casino in Aberdeen for the North Scotland regional final which guaranteed the first seat into VEGAS 100 2016 along with £500 in cash and a trophy for the best represented venue.

The team event was won by the Old Bank Bar in Aberdeen. Congratulations to David Macintosh, Jude Davidson, Ronan McCormack & Michael Forde.

The final table was dominated by our Aberdeen venues with 9 out of the 10 finalists coming from the city. With no previous VEGAS 100 qualifiers present, a new face would be joining the trip to Las Vegas next year. Reece Low led the final with 119,000 with Shirley Cooper the short stack on just 24,000.

Our heads-up match saw Reece Low battle with Moira Milne for the top prize of a seat into VEGAS 100. The tournament came to an end when Reece tabled Q-Q to Moira’s 6-2. The final board ran off Q-5-8-10-3 to crown Reece Low the new North Scotland regional final champion and 1st qualifier into VEGAS 100 2016.
