The Ricoh Arena in Coventry, Grosvenor’s Las Vegas style casino, hosted our West Midlands Two regional final with another seat into VEGAS100 going to the day’s winner. The best represented venue would also be awarded with a crystal glass trophy.

The Farthings in Birmingham took away the team trophy with 3 top 50 finishers. Congratulations to Sonia Dickerson, Andrew C Parritt, Chris Howley & Aaron Smooth.

The 10 player final table saw Lloyd Thomas lead the field on 179,000 chips with Peter Spackman not far behind on 144,000. Andy Gough was the short stack on just 14,000 chips. After Michael Griffiths was eliminated in 3rd place we were left with Lloyd Thomas and Patrick Buchanan to fight for over £1,000 worth of prizes. The tournament came to an end in unfortunate circumstances for Patrick as his 10-2 hit trips against Lloyd’s full house holding 4-4 on a 8-10-3-4-10 board.
