The Redtooth Poker Tour returned for it’s 3rd year in succession and kicked off with a SELL OUT leg at the Grosvenor Casino in Bristol. The Redtooth members who were left kicking themselves at missing out on a ticket could only watch the updates via the Redtooth Facebook group as the tour kicked off in style.
The 2015/16 tour saw some new additions to the UK’s #1 pub poker tour such as the RPT Leaderboard which offers a VEGAS100 guest ticket to the end of year winner. Season ticket holders get a 50 point head start over the rest of the field with points on offer for everyone who attends.
The 10 player final table had 4 previous VEGAS100 qualifiers who were looking to join the double qualification club. 2014 member Phil Hart started as the big stack on 229,000 with Debbie Clark the short stack on 44,000 after recovering from just 4,000 on the final 2 tables. Phil’s elimination in 3rd place left Paul Harrison heads-up with Debbie Clark for the seat into VEGAS100 2016. After a topsy turvy heads-up match which saw both players go from 200k to over 1m in chips at some point the mammoth contest came to an end with Paul Harrison tabling A-J to Debbie’s K-J with the chips going in the middle pre-flop. The final board ran out 8-10-3-5-9 to crown Paul Harrison the RPT Bristol champion and in-turn qualify for his 2nd VEGAS100 final.
