The 3rd leg of the Redtooth Poker Tour was another sell out which makes it 3 out of 3 with 120 players taking their seat all wanting to end the day with a golden ticket into our VEGAS100 National Final in Las Vegas next year.
After 8 hours and 30 minutes were down to our final table of 10 players. RPT Cardiff winner Terry Pitman led the final table on 280,000 chips as he looked to be the first ever double RPT winner. Terry was accompanied by fellow VEGAS100 members Thomas O’Toole and Caroline Quinn along with Last Table Las Vegas member from back in 2012, Nigel Hardy. Our heads-up encounter came down to chip leader Terry Pitman and Rushden’s Paul McNeil with RPT history on the verge of being made. The final hand had Terry holding J-2 to Paul’s 10-9 with an all-in and a call pre-flop. The board ran out 3-5-Q-2-7 and with Paul at risk Terry Pitman became the first double RPT champion and also qualifies for his 2nd VEGAS100 final.
