The latest round of regional finals kicked off in Aberdeen as another batch of golden tickets into VEGAS100 were ready to be awarded to all of our regional winners. £500 cash was also awarded from 2nd place down to 8th.

The first award to be handed out was the team trophy. On this occasion we had first time winners in the Royal Hotel From up in the Orkney Islands. Congratulations to the lads from the Orkneys.

Our final table was led by team event winner Adrian Davidson who was sat on a healthy stack of 92,000. Mike Winton went in as the short stack with just 10,000 in chips. Our heads-up encounter came down to Adrian and Ritchie Mackie with both players eager to secure the top prize of VEGAS100 qualification. After being a 3 to 1 dog at one stage, Ritchie overturned the deficit to defeat Adrian as his Q-8 was up against Q-5 on a 3-Q-9-A-7 board. Congratulations Ritchie.
