The West Country’s regional final was held at the Grosvenor Casino in Bristol. Another Redtooth Poker member would be off to Sin City next year to compete in VEGAS100 and maybe even the WSOP!

Occupying 2 of the top 3 finishing positions, the Old Plough in Bristol were the team event winners. Congratulations to Shaun Crowley, Kieron Coward, Pat Nicholson & Teresa Beard.

Teresa Beard started the final as the chip leader on 101,000 hoping to finally join the VEGAS100 after numerous 2nd and 3rd’s. Mick Carey was hoping for a miracle as he started with just 1,000 chips as the final got under way! Teresa again worked her way through the field and reached the heads-up match, this time against Cheltenham’s Richard Thomas. Unfortunately for Teresa the wait goes on as Richard’s A-K was in good shape against A-9. A final board of 5-3-J-6-10 eliminated Teresa in 2nd place and confirmed Richard Thomas as the new West Country champion and latest VEGAS100 qualifier.
