The Grosvenor Casino in Walsall hosted our West Midlands One regional final as another lucky Redtooth Poker member would leave the casino with a golden ticket into VEGAS100. Another 7 players would share £500 with the best represented venue receiving a crystal glass trophy.

Our first award of the day was the team event trophy which was won by the Drakes Drum in Birmingham, a long time Redtooth Poker venue. Congratulations to Simon Buxton, Phil Hart, Michelle Woodley & Matthew Takaro.

Our 10 player final had team event winner Simon Buxton leading the pack on 166,000 in chips with his team mate Phil Hart the short stack on just 31,000 in chips. With Simon exiting in 3rd place we were left with Peter Morgan and Carl Grewal to contest the remaining prizes of the VEGAS100 trip and £200 cash. The winner was declared as Peter got his chips in the middle in good shape holding Q-6 to Carl’s 5-10. A flop of Q-4-Q left the winner in no doubt before a A-3 peeled off on the turn and river. Congratulations Peter Morgan and good luck in Vegas!
