Leg 9 of the Redtooth Poker Tour, the penultimate leg, was played out at the 250 seater Grosvenor Casino in Manchester. Another full house, the 7th out of the 9 legs, saw 120 players look for the next seat into VEGAS100 which takes place in just a few months time.

Our 10 player final table included the RPT leader Andy Moores who was guaranteed to extend his lead with only 1 leg remaining. Previous VEGAS100 qualifiers David Kendrick and Julian Varney were also present looking for a return to Sin City. However, when Bob Shambler exited in 3rd place we were left with Steve Dawson and Andy Jones to battle for the day’s top prize. With Andy having most of the chips he was a big favourite for the win and when he smashed a board of Q-3-6-6-A holding Q-6 to Steve’s 10-2, we had our latest VEGAS100 qualifier.
