The first ever REDFEST event took place at Bramall Lane, the home of Sheffield United Football Club, with the event being very well supported by our Redtooth Poker members. In total there were 4 poker events spread over 3 days which included a first ever Champion of Champions tournament, another first in a ladies only event, our very popular team event saw a return with nearly 300 players taking part and the poker culminated in leg 6 of the sell out Redtooth Poker Tour.

Champion of Champions

This event saw all 9 of our previous UK Pub Poker Champions battle on the felt for the title of Redtooth Poker Champion of Champions in a one table Sit ‘N’ Go!

After a 5 hour battle 2012/13 Champion Bobby Regan defeated Brett Shufflebottom heads-up to become the Redtooth Poker Champion of Champions! Congratulations Bobby and he will now be representing Redtooth Poker and Great Britain at the World League Poker Championships in Las Vegas.

Ladies Only Event

For this event we gave our ladies a chance to battle amongst themselves to become Redtooth Poker’s top female poker player. 50 players took part in this 6 hour long tournament with a seat into next year’s WLPC going to the winner with £500 worth of prizes also awarded.

On a final table which included 3 previous VEGAS100 finalists and current Player of the Year Laura Thompson, Emily Glancy bested the 50 player field after beating Helen Hussey heads-up. Well done Emily.

Team Event

After this event’s huge success in Blackpool last year we just had to bring this to REDFEST and make it even bigger! Nearly 300 players took part in this event and no less than FIVE tickets to Las Vegas were awarded as well as £2000 worth of prizes!

Leg 6 of the Redtooth Poker Tour rounded up the poker side of REDFEST with once again nearly 300 players taking part. The top 3 players would qualify as players for next year’s VEGAS100 trip with £2000 worth of prizes awarded to the final table.
