Another West Midlands final meant another group of budding poker players would head on down to the Circus Casino, Star City all fighting for the title of regional champion and the all important seat into the prestigious National Final.

New venue ‘Shuffles’ would play host to our South England regional final. As always, in this region, an excellent turn out ensured it would be an excellent tournament.
The West Yorkshire final again took place at the Alea Casino, Leeds and was well attended with 186 runners. Daniel Hullock of the Old Ball, Leeds was off to a good start in the first session when he hit the second Royal Flush of this weekends finals. The weather may be turning but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the South Yorkshire finalists. A very strong 90% attendance ensured that it would be a good day at Sheffield United Football Club. The final would also welcome players from the Brownlow Arms, Newark who have just been crowned ‘Best Poker Pub’ at the Great British Pub Awards.
This weekend saw the Loose Cannon Club play host to another Redtooth regional final, this time to players from the South and West pubs of London. As the cards were dealt it wouldn’t be long before the first player was eliminated.
The Alea Casino in Nottingham hosted our latest East Midlands Regional Final. 195 players took their seat in what would be one of our largest Regional Finals of the season, this meant 8 players would receive a cash prize and a National Final seat.
A record 209 players gathered at the Gala Casino, Sol Central in Northampton for the season 2 Regional Final on Sunday 5th September.
Birmingham’s Star City Circus Casino played host to our first West Midlands Regional Final for season 2. Players braved the wind and rain with the hope of reaching the promised land of pub poker at some point later in the day.
London was a hive of activity as Boris Johnson’s skyride was a mere side event to Redtooth’s East London Regional Final at the Loose Cannon Club.
A healthy 90% turnout visited the Stanley Circus Casino in Newcastle for another tense and nerve racking North East Regional Final. Six National Final seats and a share of £1000 were up for grabs once again so let the battle commence!
