THE REPORT
A new Redtooth record was set at Aspers, Northampton as the Midland Hotel brought 12 representatives to play in the Central England regional final from their three leagues! Perhaps unsurprisingly, they had a finalist in Russell Nairne who got there with 43000 in chips.

A final table which went relatively true to form saw Len King hit the rail in 10th place. Short stack Emma Ward finished in 9th place with Claire Gibbins our first semi final qualifier finishing in 8th. 7th place was Tom Sutch, Andreea Mihalca 6th, Russell Nairne 5th, Daniel Beswick 4th and Nick Kirkley in 3rd. The heads-up encounter saw Keith Montgomery match up against Adam Colling. Keith had the best hand as the chips went in holding K-4 to Adam’s 10-9. The final board ran off 2-9-8-K-8 to make Keith Mongomery our newest Central England champion.
