The Grosvenor Casino, Cardiff played host to our Welsh final and we saw a record turnout with 94% attending. But there could be only one Vegas 100 winner.

With two players on the final table it was a done deal that the Team Event trophy was going home with Joe “The Read” Williams, Tony “Coat On” Ulla, Alex Lacey and Matthew Brownof the Black Lion in Cardiff.

As the 10 player final table got underway it wasn’t long before the Matthew Brown was eliminated, followed shortly by 2013 Vegas 100 qualifier Gavin Powell. This meant that short stack Carl Watson had managed to hang on into the money but him and Scott Bartlett narrowly missed out on a National Final invitation, better luck next time and there’s always Final Chance Friday. The final heads up saw Les Mayne <\strong>take the 1st prize from Tony Ulla. Well done Les, see you in Vegas.
