The Gala Casino in Glasgow saw an impressive 100% turnout for their Season 3 Regional Final. Tom McGuinness held a slight 3,000 chip advantage over Hugh Higgins as the final table got underway, while Andrew Cahoon from Wintergills in Glasgow needed nothing more than a miracle as he started with only 4,000 in chips. The 8 finalists battled their way down to the final 2 players which was between the 2 chip leaders, Tom and Hugh. Tom eventually came out on top as his 8h 2s out flopped Hugh’s 10s 4c on a 6d 8d 4s Qh 6c board. All 8 finalists shared the £1,000 cash prize with Tom collecting a cool £500 and the Season 3 South Scotland Regional Final trophy.
