Players from Birmingham and the Black Country region were invited to our Walsall regional final, played at the Grosvenor Casino, with another seat into VEGAS100 2016 up for grabs.

The Peacock Inn in Shrewsbury started their day of glory by securing the team event trophy with 3 players making the top 30 & 2 of those three facing off in the heads-up battle. Congratulations to Bill Johnson, Marco Adaggio, Scott Moseley & Peter Morgan.

The final table included VEGAS100 2015 member Patrick Walcott who went in as the chip leader on 177,000. However, Patrick couldn’t secure an immediate return to Las Vegas as he finished in 3rd place. Patrick’s elimination left Bill & Marco to battle for bragging rights at the Peacock Inn and follow in Luke Jones‘ footsteps and qualify for our VEGAS100 final. The tournament ended with a cooler for Marco as his 10-3 was up against Bill’s Q-10 on K-10-5-10-J board. Congratulations Bill and good luck in Vegas!
