Leg 6 of the RPT was held in the East Midlands at the Grosvenor Casino in Leicester only 2 weeks after we were seeing Laura Jackson take down leg 5 in Stockton. The short turn around didn’t deter our players however as Leicester was another sell out leg on this already record breaking tour.

Our 10 player final had three previous VEGAS100 qualifiers in Hugh O’Donnell, Rob Allen, & Victor Foster. It was the latter who lasted the longest as Victor made the heads-up battle against RPT Stockton runner-up Paul Arthur. The final hand saw Victor at risk but holding the best hand with K-5 to Paul’s J-10. But Paul was not going to miss out again as a favourable board ran out 4-5-10-9-J to make Paul Arthur the latest VEGAS100 qualifier and new RPT Leicester champion.
