The 7th leg of the Redtooth Poker Tour visited Leeds in Yorkshire in what proved to be a very popular leg as we saw the 6th sell out to date. The winner of the leg qualifies for VEGAS100 next year with £600 being shared between places 2nd down to 10th. The whole final table would also be invited to the next UK National Final on 20th March.

With a little fun competition running on the lead up to Christmas we decided to refund the buy-in of the best Christmas jumper! The winner was Brant Harrison who wore this lovely little number…

Our final table of 10 was as tough a final as you could get with 5 previous Vegas qualifiers which included October’s RPT Stockton champion Laura Jackson. However, it was Stefan Byrne who led the way and had the task of fending off the big guns. With Stefan falling in 5th place, Mike Yeo 4th & William Gifford 3rd, we were left with Ade Clark and Laura Jackson to contest the VEGAS100 qualification. Even with Ade holding a 3 to 1 chip lead, it still wasn’t enough to halt the resurgent Laura Jackson as the chip lead reversed with Laura finishing the job by outdrawing Ade’s A-8 with K-5 on a 7-9-5-7-4 board. Congratulations Laura Jackson who becomes the first double RPT champion!
