Our South England members entered the Grosvenor Casino at the Gunwharf in Portsmouth to battle for one of the last remaining VEGAS100 seats on the 2016 trip.

As well as £500 cash for 2nd-8th we also awarded the day’s best represented venue with a crystal glass trophy. Congratulations to the Coach & Horses in Portsmouth who were represented by Stuart Currie, Kyle Dale, Lewis Martin & Simon Wood.

The White Hart’s Tomas Simolilinas led a final of 9 players and was in clinical form as he made the heads-up encounter against Bognor’s Richard Belcher. The final hand saw Tomas table Q-7 to Richard’s 10-4 and with Richard at risk a board of 7-2-K-K-5 eliminated him in 2nd place and made Tomas the new South England regional champion. Congratulations!
